Sanibel Island Florida Restaurants
We have selected where to eat on vacation on Sanibel Island, Florida, and select some of the best seafood restaurants on the beautiful barrier island of the Gulf, known for its beautiful beaches and fantastic seafood. We recommend seafood restaurants onSanibel as an upscale dining room, which must have one of the few restaurants directly on the beach. Food can be found all over the island, on the beautiful coast of the Gulf of Mexico and on the island known as the most popular tourist destination on the Gulf Coast of the USA. Named after its namesake, the menu offers appetizers, full portions and small plates, with several dishes to enjoy in one place.
Even better, Sanibel Island has been offering delicious food and friendly service in the area for over 20 years. We recommend seafood restaurants onSanibel as an upscale dining room with restaurant and large lounge, and the local fish house will even cook your catch for you if you bring it. If your family loves seafood, visit Rosy's tomorrow, an award-winning restaurant known for its freshest dishes in the area. The food is artfully prepared and all ingredients come from local sources, including oysters, oaks, shrimp, crabs, clams, oyster shells and more.
We recommend seafood restaurants onSanibel as an established island restaurant offering a menu of seafood prepared in just about every imaginable way. Its casual atmosphere means other families visit its restaurants, and it was recently voted one of the best seafood restaurants in the state of Florida by the press. We recommend this historic fish restaurant with lots of people serving large portions of fresh food in a casual atmosphere.

The relaxed waterfront atmosphere and fresh seafood are all you can wish for on Sanibel Island, but Sandbar Steak & Seafood has more to offer. The Lazy Flamingo is a great place to cook your own fresh catch, and there are many other great options on the beach and in town, so everyone enjoys good food and a good vibe. It is one of the most popular restaurants in the city and offers a wide selection of Caribbean dishes to try.
The restaurant has a strong connection to the island's history, with a scrapbook where children can flip through the pages while waiting for their food. Cip's Place also contains a piece of Sanibel Island history, as the bar was modeled after one of the island's original ferries, the Islander. You'll find it on Sanibel Island in Mad Hatter and it's the first of many romantic sights you'll see on your way home from the beach or the town of Fort Myers.
The island of the cow is located directly at the Periwinkle in the middle of Sanibel and is therefore incredibly easy to reach. Gulf Drive follows the coast of Fort Myers, where you can reach the island's lighthouses and beaches on the "Periwinkles Way" and where most of the shopping and dining options are located. San Cap (which means "San Cap" in the local language) is the main route for distant adventures. It passes right by most of Sanibel's natural attractions and if you are not fooled by the name, we recommend seafood restaurants, as it means "heaven."
Southwest Florida International Airport is your easiest bet to fly in from Miami, Fort Lauderdale or Orlando. You only need to fly west at 1: 75 a.m. Fort Myers is about 1.5 miles north of Sanibel at 2: 30 a.m. and south of Tampa International Airport at about 1: 75 a.m., so you can fly in and out of there.
I recommend seafood restaurants on Sanibel because it is a cozy restaurant located just a few minutes from the intersection of Captiva and with food that tastes as good as it looks. This is one of the only restaurants on the harbor that you will find inSanibel, which has a beautiful location and will certainly be a great stopover on your way to Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa or Orlando.
The Bubble Room is one of two restaurants on Sanibel, which is visited by locals and visitors alike. The Bubble Rooms are a must - come and visit us if you want to take a short trip to the nearby island of Captiva, but it is the only restaurant where you can stay on Sanibel, accessible by boat from the beach. Sanibel Sandbar is located a few kilometers north of Captivia Island and a short drive from Captive's Island.
