Welcome to Sanibel Island Animal Hospital and Veterinary Medical Center in Santa Barbara, Florida! We provide pet care for pets in the Burlington, MA area, and you can expect the same level of care as you would expect from any other animal hospital in the United States.
The clinic serves students enrolled in the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, MA, as well as students and faculty from across the United States.
Perhaps the most unique feature of the hospital is that it can provide specialist intensive care for migratory birds that travel to the island every year. We are the only hospital in the nation that can offer these birds immediate, critical surgical surgery, leading the way in conserving endangered and endangered migratory birds. Although veterinary clinics often specialise in a few species, we are committed to accommodating all birds from the US and Canada, as well as from around the world.
If you are considering an annual contribution to charity, please think of our pets as part of your annual gift to Sanibel Island Veterinary Clinic.

After graduating from veterinary school, I was employed at the Mystic Veterinary Clinic, where I practiced until my death. In October 2019 I moved with my 4 dogs to Florida and started the Home Care Veterinary Service there. I started working at the New Hope shelter and later opened my own veterinary practice, Mystic Veterinary Clinic in Mystic, New Hampshire.
